Through the employment of practices such as two knife sterilization, on-site quality assurance initiated product inspections, and individual task descriptions with in-built food safety and quality assurance requirements, we are able to deliver a more stable, higher quality product throughout the whole supply chain.
Practices such as these allow a chilled shelf life of over 120 days, which means you can be confident that Acres Organic beef delivers our well known quality, for longer.

Accreditation
With accreditation from Australia’s Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, the United States Department of Agriculture’s National Organic Program (USDA NOP) and the Australian Meat Industry Council’s animal welfare standards, you can trust in our fully certified organic supply chain to deliver the quality and integrity of Acres Organic grass fed beef.
The journey starts of with our dedicated producers; each one of our producers are confirmed as fully converted to organic and audited annually, demonstrating their commitment to the program. They are approved and licensed organic by a third party certifier, as approved by Australia’s Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, along with the USDA NOP.
The cattle are received into our AUS-QUAL Organic accredited processing facility in Rockhampton (Establishment number 384, Organic certification number AQ620046) which has been inspected by the USDA. When received, each producer must show their vendor declaration documents with every single visit. The cattle are processed through dedicated receival yards and held in organic cattle yards. Every single animal’s e-tag is scanned and verified against the National Livestock Identification System before being processed, to ensure the integrity of the program and our supply chain.
Once processed, Acres Organic grass fed beef is transported along with the corresponding Organic Produce Certificate verified and supplied by AUS-QUAL, to be picked to order by our organically certified cold store, before reaching our customer for use.
